The iPhone SE 4 May Include Dynamic Island Feature

Published January 21, 2025

Recently leaked images from well-known tipster Evan Blass hint that the upcoming iPhone SE 4 might feature the much-admired Dynamic Island instead of the traditional notch. This revelation has sparked excitement among fans and tech enthusiasts alike.

In the leaks, Blass shared images along with snippets of code that reference several forthcoming Apple products, including the iPad Air with M3 chip and the 11th generation iPad. Notably, the iPhone SE 4 presents a distinctive Dynamic Island in its design.

The Dynamic Island appears faint in the leaked images; however, Blass has color-corrected it to enhance visibility. Despite modifications for clarity, it has been confirmed that the Dynamic Island is indeed present in this particular image.

Upon further review, the iPhone SE 4 seems to share more design elements with the iPhone 16 than previously thought. Both devices are expected to be powered by the A18 chip and will boast 8GB of RAM. This similarity raises questions about a possible price increase, especially given the robust features accompanying the SE model.

Interestingly, some sources suggest that the new model may even adopt the name iPhone 16E, rather than retaining the SE moniker, reflecting the device's new capabilities.

This new information contradicts previous leaks that asserted the iPhone SE 4 would only have the notch design, making the confirmation of the Dynamic Island an exciting twist. As noted by industry commentator Jesse Hollington, the notch design may soon become outdated, especially with the discontinuation of the iPhone 14, making the adoption of Dynamic Island a logical choice for Apple.

Currently, the iPhone SE 4 is still in development, suggesting that these details could change as the release date approaches. Therefore, it's wise to approach this information with caution as Apple fine-tunes the device.
