This worry stems from a spike in cybercriminal activities leveraging AI for malicious purposes, including increasingly sophisticated ransomware, password theft, and spear phishing tactics targeting company employees.

The Shift to Zero-Trust Architecture

As a means of protection, businesses are shifting towards zero-trust architecture, necessitating robust cryptographic management. Accenture's collaboration with SandboxAQ is set to deliver comprehensive, AI-driven management of cryptography via SandboxAQ's Security Suite. Accenture has taken the initiative to develop an eight-step roadmap to post-quantum security, also creating a Quantum Security Maturity Index to aid organizations in evaluating their quantum security readiness.
