Will Tesla Reach $500 Today or By Friday?
Tesla continues its remarkable performance in the stock market.
Tesla China has recently reported a positive week in insurance registrations, suggesting strong production and delivery numbers for the fourth quarter, which will be detailed on January 2, 2025.
As the year comes to a close, a key factor driving Tesla's stock movement is the need for institutional investors to align their holdings or adjust their portfolios, often referred to as window dressing.
Many active fund managers compare their fund returns against index funds. So far this year, Tesla's stock is up an impressive 93%, while the Nasdaq index has gained 33%.
There are no significant doubts regarding Tesla's expectations for 2025, especially with advancements anticipated in full self-driving (FSD) technology.
The Vice President of Tesla China announced that all Tesla vehicles produced and sold in China are equipped with FSD capabilities. They have also introduced an Actual Smart Summon feature, which has been demonstrated in videos showing cars moving autonomously over short distances without human intervention. This function relies on the FSD software installed in the vehicles.
About five weeks ago, I predicted that Tesla's stock would reach $450 within a 90-day period, and it has now increased to around $480.
Last week, I raised my price target for the end of January to between $500 and $600.
Just ten days ago, I noted that it was still a good time to invest in Tesla, and since then, the stock has surged another 20%.
I have released two new videos featuring updated analysis and price targets.

Back in October, I forecasted that Tesla would reach $1000 by the end of 2025 and could hit $2500 by the end of 2027. In November, I also predicted that the stock would hit $450 by February 8, 2025. Please note that these are not financial advice.
Five weeks ago, I shared insights on Tesla reaching $1000 by the second half of 2025, highlighting a significant shift from being politically pressured to becoming a political favorite.
I also discussed the implications of the upcoming FSD version 13, providing insights from an engineer on the Robotaxi team.
I previously suggested a bull market would likely occur after the election, lasting between two to four months. Tesla is expected to have a robust fourth quarter, driven by increasing earnings from vehicle sales, energy products, and FSD developments. There are ongoing enhancements with the 4680 battery technology, which will help reduce costs and improve profitability. Additionally, advancements in FSD may see regulatory approvals in China and Europe.
Tesla is nearing a breakthrough in autonomous driving technology expected in the upcoming months. The rollout of an enhanced version of FSD, known as version 13, has started recently. This version is anticipated to be complete for unsupervised driving, significantly improving safety and capabilities to potentially surpass human driving abilities around mid-2025.
In previous discussions, I highlighted the beginning of what could be an epic 3-4 year price increase for Tesla shares.
Moreover, I detailed the massive potential within the distributed AI market and the size of Tesla's Megapack factory in China, which has exceeded initial expectations.
In September, I reiterated my prediction that Tesla would reach $1000 by 2025, projecting a sixfold increase in earnings which would position Tesla closely with companies like Apple, Microsoft, and Nvidia.
Moreover, my earlier predictions indicated that there would be substantial catalysts that could impact Tesla's stock on a monthly and then weekly basis throughout 2025.
The expected regulatory approvals for FSD in various regions such as China and Europe will act as catalysts for growth, coupled with announcements of new car models and ramp-ups in production.
As Tesla transitions through these milestones, the automotive industry will increasingly recognize its capabilities in autonomy. Within the next few years, the landscape of robotaxi and robotrucking, driven by Tesla's innovations, will shift dramatically as the company is set to dominate these markets.
This thrilling journey points towards Tesla establishing itself as a leader not just in electric vehicles but in the future of autonomous transport and energy innovations.
