Apple’s New iPad Air and iPad Bring M3 Chip and A16 Power
Apple recently announced the launch of two new iPad models, designed for different segments of users. One model features the A16 chip, aimed at entry-level consumers, while the other boasts the new M3 chip, which promises superior performance. These devices are now available for pre-order and will begin shipping on March 12.
iPad Air (M3)
- Processor: The iPad Air is powered by the advanced M3 chip, which delivers significant enhancements in performance and capability.
- Display: This model comes in two sizes: 11 inches and 13 inches.
- Colors: Users can choose from four color options: blue, purple, starlight, and space gray.
- Storage: The iPad Air is available in several storage capacities: 128GB, 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB.
- Starting Price: The 11-inch model starts at €729 for the Wi-Fi version, while the 13-inch version starts at €979.
iPad (A16)
- Processor: The standard iPad is equipped with the A16 chip, which enhances speed and efficiency compared to previous models.
- Storage Options: This model begins with a 128GB version, and also offers 256GB and a new 512GB configuration.
- Colors: Available colors include blue, pink, yellow, and silver.
- Starting Price: The iPad starts at €419 for the Wi-Fi variant.
A new Magic Keyboard has also been introduced, which is compatible with both formats of the iPad Air. For stylus users, the iPad Air supports the Apple Pencil Pro and the USB-C Apple Pencil, whereas the standard iPad supports the USB-C Apple Pencil and the first-generation Apple Pencil.
Furthermore, Apple has emphasized its commitment to sustainability, noting that both iPad models are constructed using recycled materials, including rare earth elements, cobalt, lithium, and sustainable packaging.
With both models currently available for pre-order, consumers can expect to receive these devices starting on March 12.
