Arlo and RapidSOS Join Forces for Improved Emergency Response

Published March 5, 2025

In a groundbreaking partnership in the United States, Arlo Technologies, a leading security camera company, has teamed up with RapidSOS, an intelligent safety platform, to significantly enhance emergency response times using AI-powered video verification.

This collaboration allows users of Arlo cameras to share live video footage directly with emergency services. This new feature aims to reduce false alarms and enable faster and more precise responses to real emergencies.

Through this innovative partnership, Arlo users have the ability to alert RapidSOS safety agents. These agents can then assess the live feed from Arlo cameras before contacting 911, ensuring that only confirmed threats are communicated to emergency services. This process is designed to speed up response times and decrease the likelihood of unnecessary emergency service dispatches.

The integration between Arlo and RapidSOS also facilitates a more efficient exchange of critical information. First responders will receive essential details like exact location data, access codes, and information about the residences involved, streamlining their efforts during emergencies.

The Arlo Home Security System includes around-the-clock professional monitoring. If a security sensor detects a potential issue—such as an opened door, water leak, or a break-in—safety agents can access live video feeds to verify the threat before reaching out to emergency responders.

Matthew McRae, CEO of Arlo Technologies, remarked, “By integrating RapidSOS’s AI-powered emergency response technology with Arlo’s video verification, we are equipping first responders with the real-time intelligence they require to act effectively and swiftly.”

Michael Martin, CEO of RapidSOS, added, “Accurate information is vital when 911 receives an emergency call. With Arlo’s video verification, first responders can get a full understanding of the situation, allowing them to respond with the appropriate measures.”
