The Best Robots of CES 2025
At CES 2025, robots were cuter and smarter than ever before, capturing attention with their unique designs and advanced AI capabilities. Unlike previous years, there were no groundbreaking advancements in mobility this time; instead, the focus was on charming appearances for the audience.
Last year's standout robots included humanoid models like Unitree’s H1 and Enchanted Tool’s Mirokai. This year, these companies returned with enhanced versions of their robots that now feature AI chatbot technology. Major brands like Samsung and TCL also attracted crowds with their home robots packed with various AI models.
Yukai Engineering Mirumi
Yukai Engineering introduced Mirumi, a tiny, furry robot that aims to be irresistibly cute. Mirumi can be tucked away in your pocket or bag and simply stares at the people around it. Its only function is to recognize when someone is near, making it a delightful surprise when visitors come into your home.
Metapet Noono
Adding to the trend of adorable robotic pets, Metapet showcased Noono, an AI robotic hamster. Despite having an unusual glowing feature, Noono responds to petting by arching its back. When it needs a recharge, it conveniently fits into a small carrier.
Samsung Ballie
Samsung's Ballie also made a return, featuring improved AI for more relevant responses to user inquiries. This ball-shaped robot continues to have its projector screen for interaction, although it may still lag in speed compared to user expectations.
TCL AiMe
TCL rolled out AiMe, a conceptual robot resembling a cute baby face. AiMe consists of three different cores that integrate various AI functionalities, including vision and speech, enabling it to interact with users effectively.
Galbot Convenience Store Bot
Nvidia showcased Galbot, a humanoid robot that demonstrated its skills by retrieving snacks and drinks from a store shelf. Although it moved slowly, the effort to clamp a treat and drop it into a hand was enough to deliver a little excitement.
Unitree Go2 Robot Dog
Unitree presented its Go2 robot dog which performed various tricks, including walking on two legs and flipping. This affordable quadrupedal robotic dog offers practical features with an advanced LiDAR sensor, making it a fun addition to any household.
Jzai Mi-Mo
Imagine a lamp with spider legs, and you have Jzai's Mi-Mo. This six-legged table robot also waves to onlookers, making it a friendly addition to a room, though its capabilities remain somewhat limited.
Roborock Saros Z70
Finally, the Roborock Saros Z70, a robotic vacuum with an arm, aims to help tidy up by picking up stray items like socks. While it might not be the fastest at cleaning, it certainly offers assistance for those who prefer to relax.
