Published December 19, 2023

Substrate Artificial Intelligence SA, the Madrid-based incubator known for fostering startups in a variety of sectors such as financial technology (fintech), agricultural technology (agritech), energy, human resources, and healthcare, has recently agreed to a substantial equity investment. The venture capital investment fund, Impulse Tech Transfer CLM FCR, has committed to injecting EUR2.0 million in exchange for 4.0 million shares in the AI-centered company.

Strengthening AI Horizons

The investment deal doesn't just provide Substrate AI with additional capital, but it also forges a closer relationship between the two entities. As part of the agreement, Impulse Tech will gain influence on the company's supervision by obtaining the right to appoint a director to the Substrate AI supervisory board. The details of this appointment are anticipated to be revealed in due course, marking a new chapter of strategic governance for Substrate AI.

Market Response and Future Prospects

The current stock price stands at 21.00 pence, consistent with its valuation since Substrate AI's admission to the AQSE earlier in the month. With this steady market position and the new investment, Substrate AI is poised for further advancement in the AI industry, potentially accelerating development and scaling operations in its focus areas.
