LG Introduces 2025 Gram Laptops with Advanced AI Features

LG Electronics is preparing to showcase its 2025 LG gram laptop series, which features cutting-edge AI technology, at CES 2025 in January.

This new lineup comprises several innovative models, including the gram Pro, gram Pro 2-in-1, gram, and gram Book. Each laptop maintains the series’ signature slim and lightweight design, while also incorporating LG’s gram AI technology for enhanced performance and functionality.

Boosting Productivity with LG Gram AI

The 2025 gram laptops introduce a more intelligent and personalized user experience through advanced LG gram AI features. One such feature, gram chat On-Device, allows the laptops to utilize AI algorithms to process information directly on the device, eliminating the need for an internet connection for many tasks. Additionally, the laptops can access cloud-based AI services via gram chat Cloud, powered by GPT-4o. This integration creates a hybrid AI environment that helps users become more productive by providing tailored insights and a continuously improving experience that adapts to individual needs.

gram chat Cloud is designed to work with users’ personal calendars and email accounts, facilitating easier management of schedules and communication. Meanwhile, gram chat On-Device employs a compact language model derived from LG AI Research’s advanced EXAONE large language model, allowing for quick and secure local processing to provide relevant answers and simplify device management. Noteworthy features include Time Travel, which lets users effortlessly revisit previously accessed web pages, documents, audio files, and videos.

Performance Upgrades with Intel’s Latest Processors

The 2025 gram laptops mark a significant advancement in performance, powered by Intel’s next-generation processors: the Intel Core Ultra H-Series (Arrow Lake) and the Intel Core Ultra V-Series (Lunar Lake). The H-Series is designed to maximize traditional computing performance, while the V-Series focuses on enhancing AI capabilities.

Arrow Lake-powered models offer improved computing power and graphics processing compared to their predecessors from the previous year, delivering excellent overall performance with a focus on essential PC functionalities. In contrast, the Lunar Lake models include Microsoft’s Copilot+ functionalities, which contribute to efficiencies through features like real-time video subtitle translation and AI image generation.

Design and Versatility for Every User

The LG gram Pro (model 17Z90TR) leads the 2025 lineup, delivering an exceptional combination of performance and portability. This model includes an Arrow Lake CPU paired with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX™4050 graphics card, allowing it to manage intensive tasks ranging from graphic design to video editing and even playing the latest AAA games.

Another notable addition is the new LG gram Pro (model 16Z90TS), the first model in the gram series to feature Copilot+. It is incredibly lightweight at just 2.73 pounds and only 0.49 inches thick, making it one of the thinnest models in the lineup.

Moreover, the highly versatile LG gram Pro 2-in-1 (model 16T90TP) has received a CES 2025 Innovation Award for outstanding design and functionality. This device offers an exceptional user experience and comes with a wirelessly chargeable stylus.

In an effort to expand its presence in the U.S. market, LG is also introducing the LG gram Book (model 15U50T), which provides essential features of the gram series at a more affordable price point. The gram Book features a 15.6-inch Full HD display, expandable storage, a 720p HD webcam with a privacy shutter, and a design that’s convenient for users on the go.

All new gram laptops will support gram Link 2.0, which enhances connectivity across various devices, allowing users to conveniently share content and transfer files between multiple PCs and mobile devices, including those running iOS and Android. This feature also facilitates receiving phone calls on the gram laptops, reducing interruptions in workflow.
