The initial rollout of Alexa+ will commence in the US, starting with an early access phase that will be available exclusively for screen-enabled Echo devices. This includes models such as the Echo Show 8, 10, and the newly introduced Echo Show 21. Current users of these devices will receive notifications once access is granted.

As for the UK market, Amazon has not specified an exact launch date. However, it is expected that Alexa+ will reach the UK sometime in 2025. An Amazon representative stated that additional details will be available closer to the UK launch.

In the United States, Amazon Prime members will have access to Alexa+ at no charge upon launch. For those who are not Prime members, there will be a monthly subscription fee of $19.99 to utilize the enhanced features. This pricing is similar to that of ChatGPT+. If this model continues in the UK, users might expect a comparable cost of £19.99 upon its introduction.
