Samsung Announces Galaxy Unpacked Event in the U.S.
SEOUL, Jan. 7 -- Samsung Electronics Co. has announced that it will host this year’s Galaxy Unpacked event in the United States. This highly anticipated event is set to take place in San Jose, California, at 10 a.m. on January 22 (U.S. time). Company officials expect the event to showcase the latest Galaxy S series smartphones, which are anticipated to feature advanced artificial intelligence (AI) capabilities.
The theme of the event is "The Next Big Leap in Mobile AI Experiences." In their invitation, Samsung encourages attendees to experience the new innovations that will enhance mobile AI through a more natural and intuitive use of Galaxy AI.
Although Samsung has not revealed specific details about the product lineup, it is widely believed that the Galaxy S25 flagship smartphones will be among the main attractions. One of the new models is expected to be a slim design, potentially the thinnest in the Galaxy S series, although more details are still under wraps.
The event will also be accessible to a wider audience through live streaming on YouTube and Samsung’s official website, making it an opportunity for fans and tech enthusiasts to witness the launch in real-time.
Samsung traditionally holds its Unpacked events twice a year—during the winter and summer seasons. Last year, the company held its winter event in San Jose in January, featuring the Galaxy S24 series. In the summer, they showcased their latest foldable smartphones and a new ring-type wearable device during an event in Paris.
